Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
I have been an LMT for about three years!
What is your primary product or service?
I provide safe and comforting massage that melts stress into a blissful state of relaxation. Primarily I do Swedish Massage with some Trigger Point Therapy and Shiatsu, Aromatherapy treatments and some Hydrotherapy treatments.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I became interested in massage a long time ago when I worked in a natural health food store. I then began to get massages on a regular basis and realized how it can improve your quality of life with great depth. From then I have been hooked and decided it was a great career choice for me!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I strive to create a total body relaxation experience. I don't over focus on clinical treatments, which can take away from the relaxation of the massage, thereby giving my client a chance to unwind completely and let their body come back to a centered wholeness.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I do out call massage only (going to a person's home) and do not have an "office" space.
Provide detailed directions to your location
I am just beginning my practice in Lincoln City and still currently provide massage to clients in the Salem area on Wednesdays only. I come to you!
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash or Check only.
Which areas do you service?
Salem, Sublimity, Mt Angel, on most Wednesdays and now Lincoln City!
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Only me.
What are your hours of operation?
I tend to be very flexible and fit to my clients needs if within reason. I usually don't work on Sundays and try not to work past 7 pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
You have the hands of an angel! (which I am proud to say has been said to me)
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world. We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy."
-Joseph Campbell
